Sam had a great junior year, in 2003, Microsoft was looking into competing with Apple's Zarvox line of robotics, so Microsoft decided to get their robotics division and speech divisions together (which had involved Sam, Mike, and Mary), Microsoft wanted to bring the voices of Windows 2000 and XP in order to also be the models of the robots.
