MacinTalk Voice Alex is a TTS (Text-to-Speech) voice introduced in Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard on 2007 mainly to rival Windows Vista's Microsoft Anna. It is the most common Mac voice as it is the default voice in macOS. It is also the only Mac voice that does not sound computerized. It also has the ability to breathe, making it stand out from practically every other Text to speech voice.
