Microsoft Sam Reads Funny Windows Errors is the series that really kickstarted Ace’s popularity. Running since February 2014, Sam goes on (mis)adventures while reading error boxes that can serve as gags, fortunes, headlines, warnings, snarks, etc. Viewers can submit their own to be used in future episodes, which are known as error requests. Over time, the series's tone faded from dense and wacky with emphasis on comedy, to a dramedy with emphasis on plot and story and with matured characters. As of late 2019 or January 2020, it's been confirmed that the series will be rebooted to be understandable and entertaining to people outside the TTS community. There will still be S4EP4, but the rest of the episodes will be cut from the timeline in favor of a prequel series explaining everything in full canon up to that episode. A significant number of characters were cut as well (sadly including [Microsoft] Mary), as they were simply thrown in and are a pain to write well, and some of them are from copyrighted material.

Season 1

This season is what started it all, and had some of the biggest gaps in content standards and quality out of any season. The first several episodes retained much of the quality and styles of videos from the previous year, and then started to shift away more as of episode 8.

Main Plot

Only episodes 1-7 are still known today, until more episodes are reuploaded.

Season 2

Each episode may contain the same running gags as S1EP10 and Season 1 Finale. S2EP1 was released on October 23, 2014, S2EP2 on October 25. This was the only season with the shortest timeslots, with an episode released every 1 or 2 days. Only episode 3 is still up as of 2019 September 9.

Main Plot

Season 2 works a lot like Season 1. The wormhole returns after seven months since S1EP5, and a month since S1EP10 and then S2EP4 brought back the OS-switching scene. Not much is known as episodes are still yet to be recovered, but the finale is a bump in animation during the battle scene between the Microsofts and the Scary Logos Clan.

Season 3

Season 3 started on December 6, 2014, ending the classical era at episode 4 after the closure of Ace's first account. After the series was brought back a year and a half later upon episode 5's release, the program used was changed to Blender, starting a brand new era of 3D-animated TTS content.

Main Plot

Season 4

This season ended the 3D era, and was filler for the first two episodes. Episode 3 was the biggest episode and eventually ended with a cliffhanger on Sam about to end up somewhere else than Earth 1's remains.

Goofs

In S2EP8, there was an oversight on the first error in that episode, where it was said to be from MalachiThornsburgTV's error request, even though it was actually from abc60altTTS's. It was later resolved.
