Plot

The series stars Microsoft Sam, a poor and unlucky man who was cast out by Microsoft in April of 2014 following the end of extended support for Windows XP. Today, Sam spends his life reading errors on his computer to appease a very small audience. The series takes place in East Newton, ROFL World, a fictional place in a universe far from ours. The series does not follow a storyline like many other series and instead gets right to the errors in every episode.

Microsoft Sam's computer has the unique capability of upgrading and downgrading to any Windows operating system from 95 to 10, but he is usually forced into doing so since he would much rather use XP than anything else. However, Sam revealed in S1E2 that he does like Windows 2000, but not as much as XP.

Sam is accompanied at his house by Microsoft Mike, Microsoft Mary, Microsoft Anna, Radar Overseer Scotty, and Bacon, who all help Sam with the videos. The latter two tend to annoy the life out of Sam. Sam often resorts to threatening them in order to get them away from him.

Characters

Microsoft Sam: As stated earlier, Sam is a man who was cast out by Microsoft in April of 2014 following the end of extended support for Windows XP. He is now reading Windows errors for a living, appeasing a small audience who watches him. He has a very short temper, getting angry over small things such as someone touching his stashes of tacos or IWAY cookies, his favorite foods. His favorite operating system to use is Windows XP and his least favorite is either Windows Vista or Windows 8. He has also expressed his displeasure for Windows ME (Millennium Edition). Sam is also a "railfan", just like the series' creator, and has a model railroad layout in his basement. His computer runs Windows XP, but, as mentioned earlier, it can upgrade or downgrade to other operating systems.

Sam is a big NFL fan, specifically a Chiefs fan. His favorite player is Patrick Mahomes, an MVP, Super Bowl champion, and currently the Chiefs' starting quarterback.

Microsoft Mike and Mary are Sam's best friends who have been with him since Mike and Mary's graduation from Microsoft University. However, he tends to pick on Mike frequently for his high-pitched voice, calling him a lady or "Michelle". His main nemesis in the series is Radar Overseer Scotty, a baloney sandwich-obsessed fiend who annoys him in every episode.

Microsoft Mike: Microsoft Sam's best friend and Microsoft Mary's twin brother. Sam frequently picks on him for his high-pitched voice, especially when he is angry or frustrated. Mike is a very smart individual, making the Dean's list as a senior in 2004 at Microsoft University and graduating with high honors in all four years of attendance. However, like Sam, his emotions can get the best of him at times. He is good friends with Microsoft David, Zira, Mark, and Eva, who are text-to-speech voices for Windows 10. His computer presently runs Windows 10.

Microsoft Mary: Microsoft Sam's other best friend and Microsoft Mike's twin sister. Mary is also very smart, making the Dean's list as a senior in 2004 at Microsoft University with her brother and graduated with high honors in all four years of attendance. Unlike Mike and Sam, she keeps her stress and emotions under control and behaves remarkably well. She, like her brother, is also good friends with Microsoft David, Zira, Mark, and Eva, who are text-to-speech voices for Windows 10. Her computer presently runs Windows 10.

Microsoft Anna: A laid-back companion to Microsoft Mike and Mary who Sam doesn't approve of. Sam has a grudge against her after she upgraded his computer to Windows Vista (the RTM version, not the version with Service Pack 2) as part of an April Fool's prank in 2015. Her computer presently runs Windows 7.

The Windows 10 Voices: Microsoft David, Zira, Mark, and Eva are siblings who serve as text-to-speech voices for Windows 10, Microsoft's latest operating system, in real life. Eva specifically serves as the voice of Cortana, the operating system's personal assistant. In this universe, they come over to Sam, Mike, and Mary's house to hang out and chat every now and then. They are good friends with Mike and Mary, as well as Sam. Their computers all run Windows 10.

Radar Overseer Scotty: Microsoft Sam's main nemesis, Scotty is a young, baloney-sandwich obsessed man who serves as a radar overseer for the ROFL World Army. However, he hasn't been on duty since the Great Tech War of 2003, so he is spending his life with Microsoft Sam and his friends, annoying them with his baloney sandwich obsession. His computer presently runs Windows Vista, which he believes is the greatest operating system ever created by any company.

Bacon: A bacon-obsessed man who annoys Microsoft Sam by rambling on and on about his favorite food (who could've guessed?), bacon, and turning his belongings into bacon, namely his tacos and model trains. He is so obsessed with bacon that he uses the word over and over (sometimes to the point where he uses the word as an adjective), unlike Scotty with his obsession with baloney sandwiches. Bacon wears a fedora with strips of bacon wrapped around it. It is presently unknown as to why Bacon is the way that he is. His computer presently runs Windows Vista: Bacon Edition, his favorite operating system. This is a special one-off edition of Windows Vista given to him in 2008 by a Microsoft employee for cooking a bunch of bacon for a company cookout. The user interface has a dark orange tint and many of the icons are replaced with bacon-themed versions of them.

Gold, Soy, Celery, Sugar, and New were mentioned in S1E2, but despite this, none of them have appeared in the series, nor are they planned to be introduced to the series anytime soon. Thus, Scotty and Bacon are the only object-obsessed characters in the series. The former three characters were made famous in Thunderbirds101's and nkrs200's series, while the latter two were made famous by SamJoe404.
