The Bob meme vanished away from YouTube and was not seen again until YouTube integrated Google+ into the comments system years later. As a result of a severe lack of spam protection and comment length, video comments were bombarded with links to malware-infected websites, with enormous comments spanning thousands of words, and with the Bob meme in various forms.
