Template:R from shortcut

When used with the "Redirect category shell" (Rcat shell) template:

If target page is a template, then use {{R from template shortcut}} instead. Shortcuts are wikilinked on community pages, talk pages and edit summaries, but not in mainspace articles. Note: Template talk pages are in a talk namespace; they are not in the template namespace. All shortcuts to talk pages should be tagged with {{R from shortcut}}. When appropriate, protection levels are automatically sensed, described and categorized.

Template {{Redirect category shell}} may be used to add one or more rcat templates, along with their parameters and categories, to a redirect. For more information see the documentation page below.

When used by itself:
