RoboFreaks Pilot

The original version of SAPI-TV was released on Tracle on December 5th, 2021.

It was originally titled: SAPI TV Episode 1: The Thankful Pilot.

This version was part of RoboFreaks, meaning that it was connected to MSRACE and other TTS series being made at the time. Avery Anderson of ABN News anchored the News Segments, and the gags from RoboFreaks carried over.

Trivia

  • The series was going to have a second episode, which was cancelled due to Kenster's lack of interest in TTS videos, which led to the cancellation of all RoboFreaks series.
  • This video was originally meant to be released on Thanksgiving 2021, but was delayed due to technical difficulties on Tracle.
  • Sinikka Jacinth from Sinikka's World (albeit before the comic series and was named the mascot of the in-universe tech company in RoboFreaks "GemTech" in the episode) and Phanto Spirit (from KenMAZU95's old Phanto comic series) make cameos in the parade segment as balloons.

MAZU Version

While working on MAZU Critiques Episode 4's first drafts, Ken accidentally got himself back into TTS videos, which led to him rewatching the original RoboFreaks version of SAPI-TV.

This led to Ken reusing old PowerPoint TTS Concepts he made years ago for the series and even decided to put all the tropes of TTS videos (Errors, Signs, etc.) into the series as sketches within the episodes rather than having them be seperate series from each other like most TTS creators have done.

This series was announced on December 6th, 2025. (almost 4 years to the day the original RoboFreaks version was released.)

SAPI-TV Episode 1 was officially released on Vanillo and Odysee on January 15th, 2026.

Sketches

Error Time with Microsoft Sam

Error Time is the error series within SAPI-TV, which contains 5 errors per episode. It stars Microsoft Sam, who reads the errors.

It is quite different from most error series, which mostly just stick to Windows as the OS due to Windows having the error generators. It also uses errors from various versions of Classic Mac OS and macOS, along with many Linux distros, etc.

The main OS featured is Windows 2000 rather than Windows XP, like in most TTS videos.

Caution: Funny Signs Ahead

Caution: Funny Signs Ahead is the sign series within SAPI-TV, like Error Time, it contains 5 signs per episode. It stars Microsoft Mike, who reads the signs.

This series wasn't changed too much compared to its error counterpart.

However, in-universe, the sign series seemed to have run since 1987 (obviously way before Thunderbirds101 popularized the trope 19 years later), as Commodore Sam's final episode was in Season 5 (1992) as Amiga Angus took over almost immediately by that time.

Known Hosts
  • Commodore Sam (1987?-1992)
  • Amiga Angus (1992-????)
  • Microsoft Mike (????-Present)

SAPI News

SAPI News, like most TTS sketch comedy series, is a news segment that comes at the beginning. However, unlike most TTS sketch comedy series, there are two news anchors rather than one.

The news anchors are LH Michael and LH Michelle. The news stories revolve around the in-universe location of The Land of SAPI. Some shenanigans tend to take place, such as the computers getting another OS installed as part of a prank, someone playing old footage live on the air, etc.

Trivia

  • This series marks Mazentu's return to Text to Speech since April 8th, 2024.
  • The stickfigures are inspired by both styles of nkrs200 and TheROFL98 (both 2017 and 2018). KenMAZU95 chose these designs mainly for a "looks can be deceiving" mindset, as these characters, while they do look very typical of TTS, most of them don't act the same way most TTS characters do.
  • This series is considered a side-project, meaning that it's not the main focus for Mazentu.
