If the page title has been previously deleted, then check with the deleting administrator before re-creating the page.

Purpose

This is a substitution and preload template used to create the framework for a redirect page.

Usage

Substitution usage

On a blank page, the redirect page, enter

{{subst:redirect preload}}

1. Press save
2. Press edit
3. Then replace "Name of article" with the pagename you wish the redirect to point to.
4. Press save

Preload usage

Then replace "Name of article" with the pagename you wish the redirect to point to.
