With MS Paint his primary tool, Angus has been part of DeviantART since 2008 and posted his first YouTube video the following year. Most of his videos consisted of images from dA based on fan art, memes or art summaries, the latter becoming an annual staple on his page. Most of these early collections didn't get a lot of views, with the exception of multiple images created from a self-made template based on the DEUUEAUGH meme from SpongeBob. Despite being heavily down-voted, the combined 36,000 views as of February, 2019, seemed like a personal achievement.

While at it, though, Angus discovered the early video experiments by davemadson, and while originally watching for the logo spoofs and bloopers, he became more interested in the text-to-speech voices that would accompany Dave's series, including Looney Tunes Intro Bloopers.  This series gave Angus the idea to make a slideshow of his own "Looney Tunes Logo Spoofs" (2012), which not only met with moderate success, but was also praised by Dave (under his old account)!  Two other compilations and other single themed spoofs have also been featured since then.
