Microsoft Sam reads Funny Errors (previously known as Microsoft Sam reads Funny Windows Errors) is a TTS series created by TKB. It is currently on hiatus.
Season 1
Season 1 started on October 7, 2014 and ended on May 30, 2016. The series primarily featured Microsoft Will as a reacurring antagonist. Really Sucky Virus and EAS tones were also recuring elements present. The first two episodes were made with Windows Movie Maker, the rest of the season is made with Windows Live Movie Maker.
The season is well known for a huge gap from October 13, 2014 to May 29, 2016 due to personal reasons. This also meant ideas that were supposed to be in the third episode back in 2014 were cut, such as an idea to have Slenderman eventually pop up as another threat to Microsoft Sam.
Season 2
Season 2 started on June 4, 2016 and ended on July 13, 2016. The season's antagonist was Devil's Hell Star Mark IV, joined by his legion, Satan. The season finale was made in VideoPad instead of Windows Live Movie Maker, and episode up until Season 5 would be made in VideoPad.
Season 3
Season 3 started on July 27, 2016, and ended on September 4, 2016. Notorious long, and notorious known for its premise of clashing Pokemon and Digimon, the season featured multiple antagonists in a setting of war akin to The War Trilogy. This was the first season to be developed under one video editing software, VideoPad. This was also around the time that the series would gain popularity.
Season 4
Season 4 started on September 24, 2016 and ended on December 10, 2016. The episodes has confirmed into a standard Saturday schedule, with episode being released weekly. Notable exceptions include Episode 8 to coincide with the 2016 elections, and the Thanksgiving special. The series ramped up sharply in error requests, and lowered more heavily on a story-based structure, only featuring a recurring antagonist known as Bonzi Buddy, a program developed by Jokermingo0044.
Season 5
Season 5 started on January 21, 2017 and ended on June 1, 2018. Due to a major roadblock in the interest of text-to-speech videos and subsequent issues relating to real life, the series laid dormant from February 19, 2017, and would ultimately be canned on June 1, 2018. Because of this, ideas meant for Season 5 were scrapped entirely, with two antagonist, Kennedy and Rexxon not be realized. The series also marks the usage of Sony Vegas instead of VideoPad.
Season 6
Season 6 started on July 31, 2018, and is still ongoing. The formula for these episode were changed so that they were less story-based and more of a comedic-side taste. The series went into a huge hiatus after Episode 10, due to technical difficulties and the creator shifting away from text-to-speech content.
Trivia
- This series is notorious for its long gaps between episodes, in part due to the creator's conflicted feelings over the series.
