Windows Vista is an operating system created in 2007 by Microsoft, designed to be the successor to Windows XP. It introduced Windows Aero (short for Authentic, Energetic, Reflective, and Open)Citation needed, a set of interface and design guidelines based around the glass (to take advantage of desktop composition technology Microsoft developed for computers with good graphics cards), into the Windows ecosystem. Windows Vista has been negatively reviewed by most people. Its internal codename was Longhorn, but in 2006, its final name, Vista, was what the OS was called from then on. It was known to be quite unstable, and very few PCs could actually run it at the time. This caused Microsoft to rush out Windows 7, which was what Vista should have been.

Windows Vista in the FairPlay137-TTS Universe is similar to the real Windows Vista. Back when Windows Vista was released, it was a buggy mess and nobody used it. However, Windows Vista improved over time, and around the time Windows Vista SP2 was released, several companies, namely Channel 302 Studios, started using it. However, it was quickly overshadowed by Windows 7.

The development of Windows Vista in the KT Universe is the same as the development in real life, except when Microsoft was creating the SAPI5 Mulan Engine, Sam was brought into Microsoft's Speech Recognition Division to rerecord his voice for the Mulan engine. Sam was gonna record his voice to speak other languages this time, but he turned it down and brought Anna to record her voice for the SAPI5 Mulan Engine. Microsoft was pleased with Anna's recordings, but she noticed a few bugs, like her TTS Voice not pronouncing ROFLCopter correctly. Other then that, Anna was satisfied. After Microsoft restarted development for Longhorn, Anna rerecorded her lines for Mulan after her pre-reset TTS Voice was corrupted after Microsoft attempted at porting it to the first post-reset build (5048), but it didn't work, so Anna rerecorded her voice. Windows Vista made its release on Microsoft Mary and Microsoft Anna's 20th birthday (January 30th, 2007). Sam hated Vista since day one, and so did Anna. Sam hated it so much, he downgraded back to Windows XP. Even after the two Service Packs were released, Sam still considered it a glitchy piece of crap to this day, and he even celebrated the end of support for Vista on April 11th, 2017.
