Cyber Smash: Brawling Beyond is a text-to-speech action/gaming series created by SuperSwirlyTitan198. Primarily focusing on fights within Super Smash Bros., the series was conceived as an attempted revival of Green Neko Productions' Cyber Smash in response to the series' cancellation 2 weeks after its final episode. Since its initial reveal trailer, a sneak peek(of a previous version of the first episode) and a character showcase were shown off.

History

Starting in July 8th, 2018, Cyber Smash was introduced to Green Neko Productions and would see a few episodes until December 4th, 2018 when the Version 1.0 Finale was uploaded and Cyber Smash 2.0 was teased in preparation for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's initial release. Supposedly, it was planned to be a retelling of the World of Light story mode from the game with a GNP spin. Additionally, characters (such as the SJ Denpa cast) weren't going to be limited to just using Mii fighters and would've had the rest of the roster to work with. However, on December 18th of that year (19th on social media), it was revealed that the plans for more Cyber Smash content had been cancelled due to a few factors. Following this news, Project 60 began work with a number mystery accompanying it, dubbed The 60 Mystery, which started appearing at the end of a few Mii TV uploads from August 2019 until that November (plus a few extras that were VidLii/Vlare exclusives) where it was revealed in December to be an attempted revival of the original Cyber Smash series originally titled Cyber Smash: Non-Canon Edition.

It was originally planned for a 2020 release, but due to a number of factors including a lack of proper resources at the time, and changes made to the first episode's script (which also had to accommodate for the Mii TV cast's refresh from 2023), it suffered through multiple delays and revisions. Since then, it received a few related images

However, about 5.75 years after its announcement, the series was finally given a release date of September 19th, 2025 where it was also given a new name: Cyber Smash: Brawling Beyond.

Since then, there have been plans for more episodes featuring more of the cast while also allowing non-Mii Fighters to be usable.
