{{Stub}}

'''Microsoft Aria''' is a natural Text-to-Speech voice that first appeared on Microsoft Azure, alongside [[Microsoft Jenny (voice)|Microsoft Jenny]] and [[Microsoft Guy (voice)|Microsoft Guy]]. They were introduced into Windows 11 as on-device natural voices in build 22543 (However, Guy was released a little later, in build 22558).<ref>[https://blogs.windows.com/windows-insider/2022/01/27/announcing-windows-11-insider-preview-build-22543/ Announcing Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22543 | Windows Insider Blog]</ref> They currently cannot be used outside of the context of Narrator, as unlike the other Microsoft voices, Microsoft Aria and the other natural voices are not compatible with SAPI 5. It is not yet known if Microsoft will make these voices accessible to 3rd party screen readers or TTS programs.
