Aside from being a Text-To-Speech parodist, he is also a Slikker, a site developer (like nkrs200) known for running an extremely popular website named Bloodstreams Corporation, a programmer (C#, JavaScript and SmileBASIC) and a Splatoon GModder.

History

In June 24, 2014, IP101 was planning to start his Microsoft Sam series to support the TTS video makers (especially Thunderbirds101 and nkrs200) and his first TTS video was Microsoft Sam reads Funny Windows Errors S1EP1, which was uploaded on July 1, 2014.

In October 11, 2014, IP101 planned Microsoft Alex and Microsoft Kayla[1], which are eSpeak voices.

In October 20, 2014, IP101 came up with "Microsoft Sam: Trilogy", marking 6 years of the Text-to-Speech videos.

In November 7, 2014, IP101 changed his channel name to Thunderpenguins101 and then to Icepenguins101 in November 8.

After a while of feuding against IaD, POKEGAMERZ 9185, NeoCorp and AlphaSkyRaider in in June 5, 2016, he completely killed the Icepenguins101 name, using his real name as a result.

Series

Microsoft Sam reads Funny Windows Errors

Inspired by Thunderbirds101, this series have Sam reading some errors.

  • In May 29th, 2016, the series ended due to low views.
  • It was announced during the IP101 10th Anniversary event that the series was to be revived, continuing from S2EP5 onwards. S2EP5 is:
    • the last Funny Windows Errors episode to use errors taken from Atom Smasher, in the form of archived error messages from other websites, and is the first to use Barra's Error Message Generator, mixed between the two Sams that are present in the episode.
    • very similar to the first part of Microsoft Sam: Trilogy, in which the plot is identical but given an error message twist.
    • a combination of AceOfSpadesProduc100's Funny Windows Errors S3EP5 and S3EP7, evidenced by the AGK83 Productions intro from S1EP2 showing just after the Tip of the Day segment before being interrupted by the Microsoft Sam: Trilogy 2 iteration of Sam in favor of the modern Icepenguins101 intro, and the Microsoft Sam: Trilogy iteration being sent to the modern world (despite Microsoft Sam goes to Goggle 2: Revenge of the Viruses and Microsoft Sam: Trilogy 2 Part 3 actually proving that this Sam is Natural Microsoft Sam).
  • S2EP2 and S2EP5 are the only two episodes to not focus on errors right away after the title card.

Microsoft Sam: ROFL War (2014)

The first war series created by IP101. However, it was replaced with Microsoft Sam: Trilogy.

  • The original series was delisted due to IP101 believing the series was of poor quality and is planned to get a reboot, linking itself between Microsoft Sam goes to Goggle 3: At World's End and Microsoft Sam: Trilogy 2.

Microsoft Sam: Trilogy

Not a war series, but it shows Sam's backstory.

  • From January 1, 2015, IP101 is running out of ideas for the series.[3]
  • Part 1 was originally going to show Sam's creation[4], but IP101 managed to use the part where he time-travels.
  • After AceOfSpadesProduc100 closed his account in the beginning of 2015, IP101 came very dangerously close to cancel Microsoft Sam: Trilogy and his other Microsoft Sam projects and leave the TTS community, before finding out in September 24, 2016 that AOSP100 came back as Mitchell Productions.

Microsoft Sam: Trilogy 2

Revealed on November 6, 2016 and started to air in December 5, 2016 at 1AM, Microsoft Sam: Trilogy 2 is a sequel to Microsoft Sam: Trilogy, showing Sam's backstory during 2007 through 2014.

  • Part 2 was originally going to be made on Windows 10 using the exact same setup as the first, but an infinite login loop on his Windows 10 computer after updating to April 2018 Update (or Feature Update, as he calls) resulted in the files being inaccessible. As a result, this idea was shelved almost immediately - later being completely remade from scratch on a Mac and released in December 31, 2018.
    • One of the unused assets from the shelved Windows version was later used in his remake of Microsoft Sam goes to Goggle and two unused Kayla voice lines from said project are to be reused in Part 3.

Microsoft Sam Rants

The fourth series made by IP101, and involves Sam ranting on stuff.

Microsoft Sam reads Stupid Signs

The fifth series from IP101, which made its debut in his 3rd anniversary (June 11, 2016)

  • This series was also inspired by Thunderbirds101.

Microsoft Sam reads Ultimate Errors

The sixth series from IP101 was revealed in a comment on Google+ in May 13, 2017 and later premiered in June 14, 2020. Like its predecessor, this series shows Sam reading errors.

  • This is the second series since Microsoft Sam reads Funny Windows Errors to hold requests.
  • Ultimate Errors S1EP2 switched to Barra's Error Message Generator like many other error series due to Atom Smasher's unexpected closure in 2022.

Microsoft Sam: ROFL War (2025)

This war series shares the same name as its 2014 counterpart, but has nothing to do with said series. Instead, this series links itself between Microsoft Sam goes to Goggle 3: At World's End and Microsoft Sam: Trilogy 2.

Miniseries

Microsoft Sam goes to Goggle

Originally released in 2014, it was remade to line in with Microsoft Sam: Trilogy to explain how Sam was destroyed, reborn and the eventual creation of Natural Microsoft Sam. This series has three parts, with part 2 being named Revenge of the Viruses and part 3 being named At World's End.

  • Part 3's original storyboard was originally going to include a new character called Bonzi, due to IP101's interest with Jazff Gaming. It was ultimately shelved as a result of IP101 feeling like it "derailed the story too much".

Microsoft Sam Plays

An upcoming miniseries from IP101, showing Sam playing games. Revealed in July 6, 2017 but is still unknown when it will premiere.

Trivia

  • After Microsoft Sam reads Funny Windows Errors S1EP6 was published to YouTube, he became the only TTS video maker to use VideoPad Video Editor due to glitches to Movie Maker.
